CuTTING EDGE Dominates Charts For Month Of July!

It is only rock ' roll at its finest, but Cutting Edge who is referred to as the Biggest Rock Band in Middle America has had a great month on various charts!

The Billboard Charts reflect that the love ballad, "Without You" and the rock song "If The Walls Could Talk" spend the whole month inside the top 20 of the Billboard Hot Single Sales Charts.  "Without You" entered at #17 at the beginning of the month and now, as of July 30th, is #11 while "If The Walls Could Talk" entered at #20 and is now #17.  This is Fantastic for an indie band.  Cutting Edge also averaged over 3,000 spins per week at commercial radio stations in the U.S. and also both songs spent the month inside the top 20 of the Online Radio Charts, with the song "Without You" spending most of the month at #1.

So congratulations is in order for this rock band, who with their own record company is promoting their music we very little money.  WAY TO GO CUTTING EDGE.

Taylor Swift Meets Rock Band, Cutting Edge

It is being reported that radio monitoring systems have begun to pick up on the fact that radio stations in various countries around the world are playing Taylor Swift songs back to back with various songs of the band, Cutting Edge.  Some of the songs by Cutting Edge include "Without You", which is currently #13 on the Billboard Single Sales Charts, "Every Time I Try" and "Love Police".

Cutting Edge continued is strong showing on various charts around the world.  Beside being number 13 and number 17 on the Billboard Top Single Sales Charts, Cutting Edge is pushing itself on the Internet Chart with over 1500 spins, over 400 more spins the week of July 21 than the second place song.  The band also has a song "Losing You" currently #1 on the Broadjam R&B charts.

Internet Radio Pushing Rock Band Cutting Edge Up The Charts!

Cutting Edge Completes Filming of New Videos in Las Vegas

Cutting Edge has just finished filming for three new videos in Las Vegas with the first due to be released towards August 15 and the two others by the first of September.  The three videos, directed by Jimmy Fassler, who had directed seven previous videos for the band stated that "he believes that the new videos will be the best yet".  Considering the popularity of the previous videos, including "If The Walls Could Talk" and "Losing You" which exploded at over 80 videos sites around the world and it can be anticipated that these videos will be fantastic.

"Your Love Is My Oxygen", the video to be released on August 15, will be the released to help promote the new Cutting Edge single by the same name.  The song has an Pop/CHR feel to it, but will also do well in the R&B genre.  The song is written by Liza Pesnell and William Zimmerman; and will directed by Jimmy Fassler, it is produced by lead vocalist David Pesnell who produced all the other previous videos.

The two videos to be released in September are "21st Century Women" and a video featuring a remix by Ricky Ric of the Cutting Edge Classic Hit Single, "Love Police".

Rock Band, Cutting Edge Stays Strong On Billboard Charts!

The rock band, Cutting Edge continues to surprise many in the recording industry with the staying power of two songs on the Billboard Top Singles Sales Charts.   On July 7 of 2011, Cutting Edge debuted two songs inside the top 20, with the love ballad, "Without You" entering at #17 and the rock song, "If The Walls Could Talk" entering at #20.  The representatives at Billboard do not know of any other indie artist who has accomplished this feat.

Both songs are remaining strong on the charts and in fact, during the week of July 21, 2011, "Without You" has risen to #13 and "If The Walls Could Talk" is now at #17.  Both songs were written by Liza Pesnell and William Zimmerman and performed by the band Cutting Edge and the songs are getting strong airplay, not only in the U.S., but according to monitoring stations around the world, the songs are performing extremely well.  While receiving radio airplay in Japan, Australia and Europe, the members of Cutting Edge were surprised to learn that the songs are also receiving radio airplay in Russia, Columbia, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Dubai, and China.

Filipina Songwriter Liza (Leli) Manaloto Pesnell Makes Billboard History

Songwriter Liza Manaloto Pesnell (also known as Leli) has made Billboard Chart history by writing two songs that made their debut inside the Billboard Top Single Song Sales Charts on July 7, 20011.  Liza Manaloto Pesnell was born in Angeles City, Philippines.  According to a representative from Billboard, no songwriter from the Philippines has ever accomplished this feat and further, they did not know of any other songwriter who had accomplished this in recent years.

Fan Club Blog For Rock Band, Cutting Edge

This is the first blog for the Cutting Edge Fan Club.  For those who do not know who Cutting Edge is, they are a rock band based in Arizona who has had several hit songs over the years, including "Every Time I Try" (#6 in U.S.), "Without You" (#1 U.S.), "Love Police" (#20 U.S.), "If The Walls Could Talk" (#12 U.S.), "Your Love Is My Oxygen" (#5 U.S.) and "Losing You" (#2 U.S.).  Other songs to chart in the U.S. include "Judas of D.C.", "It's Time" and "Abuse of Power".

Cutting Edge is an Indie band and own their own record label (Thunder Quest Records) and their own publishing company (Magenta Rose Publishing).   Cutting Edge is David Pesnell, William Zimmerman and Liza Pesnell.
